Stadium Record & World Lead in Paris

Stadium Record & World Lead in Paris

6th July 2013 – On his third visit to the Meeting Areva in Paris Usain came away with a 200m stadium record and world leading time of 19.73 secs.  The Jamaican made it a Paris triple as he ran away from training partner Warren Weir and local hero Christoph Lemaitre.

‘Personally I think I should have run quicker,’ he said. ‘But it’s enough to win races against a tough field. This is one of the best fields [in the world], subtracting Tyson Gay.

‘I should have done better, but the positive thing is I know what to work on. It’s all positive, really.’

Well done. Why do you want to play football for Man Utd on eve of Moscow Championships, it media reports are true?
