19th April 2015 – Usain won his third Mano a Mano title in Rio de Janeiro this morning beating Ryan Bailey, Jose Carlos and Churandy Martina over 100m on a specially built track at the prestigious Jockey Club. The six times Olympic Champion clocked 10.12 secs as he pulled away from his competitors over the final 30m. He told reporters after the race, “Overall I didn’t feel myself, but I think it is just lack of races. It will take time for me to get back to my best so I just need to run more and I’ll be OK. This is always my first race of the season so it is not going to be as fast as everyone wants it to be. I am sure my coach isn’t going to be too happy. The good thing is that I won.”
