13th June 2013 – After a below par performance in Rome last week Usain bounced back into form with an excellent 19.79 secs meeting record in the Bislett Games in Oslo. In cold temperatures the Glen Mills coached athlete controlled the turn before accelerating away in the record the first sub 20 in the world this year.
“It was very chilly today, but I ran as fast as I could, and as I promised.”
“I’m never worried, I never focus on somebody else.”
“It’s now back to Jamaica for me. My goals are the same – to be the best in the world and win three gold medals in Moscow. And my dream is to break 19 seconds in the 200m.”
