31st December 2013 – In the traditional end of year awards announcements Usain added to his 2013 Laureus World Sportsman of the Year and IAAF Male Athlete of the Year when he was selected as World Sportsman of the Year by AIPS (International Sports Press Association) and La Gazette della Sport as well as being voted Athletics International Male Athlete of the Year.
