Usain wins Jamaican 100m title

21st June 2013 – Six times Olympic Champion Usain Bolt took his fourth Jamaican 100m title at the National Championships in Kingston with a 9.94 secs victory over training partner Kemar Bailey-Cole (9.98) and 200m specialist Nickel Ashmeed (9.99).   The 26 year old Bolt had an average start but powered through the field and by 60m knew the title was his.  He could afford to look around a few times and easy up on the line.   This result secures his selection for the IAAF World T&F Championships in Moscow in August where he will run the 100m, 200m and 4x100m.
