27th July 2013 – In his final race before the IAAF World T&F Championships in Moscow Usain returned to the Olympic stadium in London to win the 100m in a season’s best 9.85 secs in the London Anniversary Games. One day later he returned with his Racers Track Club team of Mario Forsythe, Kemar Bailey-Cole and Warren Weir to win the 4x100m in 37.75 secs. The 65,000 crowd was treated to a great feast of athletics led by Bolt and brought back memories of the Olympics one year earlier. Usain looks in great shape as he heads towards Moscow.
“It’s good to be back here. I’ve got a lot of love for this stadium and this crowd,” he said. “It was nice to get the win and I’m confident going in to Moscow.”
