Victory in Ostrava

Usain Bolt won in his first Europe outing at the Golden Spike meeting in Czech Republic in a slow 10.04 seconds ahead of Kim Collins – 10.19 and Darvis Patton – 10.22.

Bolt was slow out of the blocks after a false start. Bolt lingered briefly behind but caught up almost half-way and passed the entire field.

Bolt, who was in Ostrava for the 6th straight year did his usual victory lap and greeted fans in the packed stadium.

Bolt will race again in the 100 metres on May 31 at the Samsung Golden Gala in Rome.
